SHAYNE |
His grandfather played music, his father played music and Shayne continues the tradition. He plays lead electric guitar on his Merle Haggard telecaster, is a consummate flat-picker,a lead singer,
the sound man and a great songwriter. In addition to his guitar skills, he plays mandolin, fiddle, harmonica, and dobro. He can also play bass when needed! Shayne
started playing lead in the clubs when he was 12 years old and music has been
a huge part of his life. It comes second only to his two boys Marty and
Robert, with whom he spends weekends fishing, camping, and anything they want
to do together! He has played lead for the Alternators, Rocky Rauch and the Freedom Cowboys and the Hal Olson Band. |

Alane is the latecomer to the band. She joined the band in 2000; she and Shayne married in
2001. Alane taught herself to play guitar at 15 and played bluegrass, a little rock and finally settled down to country music with Country
Express in Central Oregon for a number of years. In 1997 she recorded her first CD
“Old Avon Road,” a collection of favorite songs she had written over the years. She owns and operates a small business consulting firm Northwest Assessment Services. When she isn’t playing music, she does crafts, gardening and spends time with
Polly and Bryn, her two border collies. |
